But let’s start by talking about the reason for this title: “Zante: the Best Season Ever”. Last year in October, as we were leaving the island, our friend Dionisio, from the Advantage bar in the center of Zakynthos, shouted at us: “next year will be the best Season ever” and said it with incredible joy that it was truly contagious.

We will return as usual to our beloved island and we think that perhaps Dionisio will be right and maybe there will be no more masks, pandemic prohibitions or restrictions and we will finally be able to say goodbye by shaking hands, hugging and greeting each other with much affection and through the streets of the city it will be really nice to walk with the sun warming you and joy in your heart.

You who read us will think that we are exaggerating, but we are sure that from the first moment you set foot on the island you will be enchanted. Whoever arrives in Zakynthos once returns forever, this is what happens. Life here awakens. An island where the sun, colors, nature, food and people will be able to reach and bless every cell of your body. Those who come here do it mainly for its sea and it really has a reason, given the beautiful beaches that there are, but the real energy of the island is given by the millions of olive trees that inhabit it.
